“TO HELP KIDNEY PATIENTS EXTEND THE USEFUL LIFE OF KIDNEYS THROUGH FACT BASED EDUCATION AND MODERN PRODUCT RESEARCH/DEVELOPMENT”
I was diagnosed with an incurable kidney disease in 1998 after years of symptoms. Steroids and immune suppressing drugs failed to stop my disease. I was finally able to put my disease into remission in 2008/2009 after years of trial and error and experimentation. I have been a kidney patient for over 20 years. .
The bad news is that the U.S. has the worst outcomes for kidney patients of any developed country(66th in the world). We need to change this and change it today. The battle has to be fought at diagnosis and not dialysis. Waiting to treat or adopting a wait and see approach is the road to dialysis.
It is my mission to stop this practice and encourage patients and doctors to try early , aggressive and measurable interventions to slow or stop the progression of incurable kidney disease. Early and aggressive intervention can add decades to the useful life of kidneys and quality of life. In some cases, disease progression will completely stop.
As patients with an incurable disease, we deserve the right to try any and all treatments to live longer, stay off dialysis or the transplant list as long as the risks are understood.
We know three things to be true above all others:
Educated patients live longer, better lives and have the best odds
Every treatment plan you don’t try is guaranteed to fail
Well thought out and coordinated plans always work better than random, scattershot or “one off” approaches.
Take the first step in slowing your disease and improving your odds by getting educated.

WE BELIEVE THE ROAD TO SLOWING DISEASE PROGRESSION ALWAYS STARTS WITH PATIENT EDUCATION.
Stopping Kidney Disease is a 500+ reference and treatment guide to educate patients on the factors that slow or speed the progression of kidney disease. Many of us are driving 100 mph toward dialysis without knowing it.
